Four Mcdonald’s stores in Jaipur city have been closed for two weeks. These include 4 large MacDonald stores, including the Gaurav Tower, Paanch Batti, Bais Godam and Elements Mall.
International food chain McDonald has decided to close its 165 outlets in north and eastern India for a few days. People are very excited about the company’s sudden closure of these outlets. However, the form of re-opening of the store from management office has been put out of the store.
The company has made this decision after settling a 6-year-old dispute with his Indian franchise partner Vikram Bakshi. A statement issued by the company said that it has been decided to discontinue these outlets under the operational protocol.
According to the statement, McDonald India Pvt Ltd (MIPL) has decided to buy stake in Vikram Bakshi, joint venture company, Connaught Plaza Restaurants Limited. This agreement is made out of court. After this agreement, 165 outlets run by CPRL have been owned by McDonald’s and Bakshi’s two decades-old relationship has ended with McDonald’s. It is expected that these restaurants will be opened again in a week or two.
