Pushkar is one of the most sacred and holy places in Hinduism which is considered as one of the five dhams. The celebration of pushkar festival lies back deep in the history; it is the day when thousands of pilgrims visit the lake there for the holy bath. Records also mention the existence of trading fair where camels, horses, bulls, cows etc are traded and also various races are organized. The same fair has grown so big to spot the camel race and cattle trading alongwith whopping tourists group both Indian as well as of foreign. Not only it is the fair of camel and cattle but also a celebration of photography; number of photographs are spotted at the festival capturing their desired clicks.

1. Camel Ride:

It’s unimaginable to skip the thrill of a camel safari when touring the majestic state of Rajasthan. Second to Jaisalmer, Pushkar is well known for its camel safari mainly during the celebration of Pushkar Fair. Pushkar lake is related with the mythology of Brahma, the God of creation.
