It was really a great experience visiting India. Truthfully I have never thought that I will travel here. Thanks to my company that sent me to work in South for few months. I started to like the landscape which is very beautiful and decided to take a trip to Golden Triangle. One of the cities, Jaipur has mesmerized me for all the beautiful places.

Firstly we passed through Hawa Mahal which is indeed very unique and along in this road, you can only see pink building (That is why Jaipur is also called Pink City of Rajasthan).

Amer Fort01

Then we went to the famous Amber Fort. Travel bus is not permitted to go up to the Amber Fort so we have to take a jeep to the entrance. According to the tour guide, normally we can use elephant ride but there is festival on that day so we have to use the jeep instead. From far, I noticed that this fort looks like Great Wall of China.

I was really amazed with the architecture, so well designed and built and local people really takes care of it very well. According to the tour guide, these glasses on the wall are imported from Belgium. We can see a beautiful garden outside Amber Fort

We met a very friendly cleaning boy and he took us up to this place where you can see the so called nice view of the fort. We went down after a while and on the way to the exit, there are these two huge bowls (used to cook when there was a festival).

Amer Ride

Since we missed the elephant ride to the Amber Fort, the tour guide arranged another elephant ride in the village. I took the ride with my mom. It was my first time and quite interesting 😛

After the elephant ride, we went to the City Palace. Here we can see things that have been used by Maharaja and Maharani like their clothing, transportation used during that time.

Next, we stopped at Jantar Mantar, where you can see all collection of nineteen architectural astronomical instruments. I must say the people that created this is incredible smart and genius.

Jaipur Market

Before ending our trip in Jaipur, we visited local handicraft stores to buy some souvenirs. I don’t have much to say as you can see all the pictures explained the beautiful of this city. It was really a pleasure and exciting trip in Jaipur. I definitely recommend this place to my friends.
