The Amer Maota, which has been dry in the capital Jaipur, may soon be fill. The Department of Water is considering providing water from the Bisalpur Dam Project to Jaipur-based Maota, which has historical, religious and tourism importance.
Dr B. D. Kalla has also given instructions to the concerned department officials in this regard. Instructed that the draft of its action plan should be prepared in such a way that there is no problem of drinking water in the city of Amer and water can also be provided to Maota lake Amer.
In addition to the project, the Chief Engineer stated that the old pipe line will be tested first and if the line is successful, it can be provided 1.5 to 2.0 MLD of water to Amer by matching it with the new pipe line. This work can be completed in a month.
Once the maota dam get filled it will lead to beautify the glory of Amer as well and also catches the attraction of tourists.
