History : Kanak Vrindavan is a popular garden in the Pink City.  The excellent green valley is popularly known as Kanak Vrindavan Valley and erected by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh, just about 280-years prior. The beautiful garden is located at the bottom of Nahargarh slopes on the way towards Amber Fort. The place is named as Kanak Vrindavan because of its similarity to Lord Krishna’s place Vrindavan in terms of design and construction.

Another interesting story behind this place is that Ashwamedh Yajna was performed here. For that water from a few streams was assembled. The garden consists of some gorgeous fountains. One of the popular fountain “Parikrama” has been cut out of a solitary bit of marble.

Attractions : Kanak Vrindavan Garden is located near Nahargarh and Amer fort which makes it a perfect spot for outing and other get together. One can come here to spend some quality time as the place is really perfect for a day out far from the hectic city life.

The famous temple inside the place draws in sightseers and also local people to come and revel in a day.  This temple has a great contribution to make the place popular as various visitors go to the place to visit the temple. The Kanak Vrindavan offers a superior perspective of the close-by beautiful Jal Mahal and the lofty trio of Nahargarh Fort, Jaigarh Fort and Amber Fort.

This beautiful garden is a famous tourist destination specially. Piligrims make a visit to this place specially during the popular festivals of Rajasthan, Teej and Gangaur. The charming beauty of the garden is

 enhanced by the faint enchanting strains of hymns from the nearby temples of Govind Deoji and Natawarji.
